What Should We Bring?

We want make sure you are comfortable in your room.  All rooms have towels, bed linens and soap.  Adequate paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) are supplied to meet the room’s capacity, should they be needed, additional supplies must be purchased by the renter.  The motel offers a choice of either kitchenette or traditional motel rooms. The kitchenettes have a combination stove, sink, and refrigerator. The Kitchenettes are not stocked, so you will need to bring your own cook wares, dishes, etc. 

What If I Need To Cancel My Booking?

***ALL CANCELLATIONS REQUESTS MUST BE MADE IN WRITTEN FORM*** (No discounts for late arrival or early departure.)  

Cancellations 48 hours or more prior to check-in time incurs a cancellation fee of 10% of rental total. 
Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to check-in time will incur a fee equal to 50% of rental total. 
Cancellations on the same day as check-in (or a ‘no show’) will be charged 100% of rental total.

Are roll-a-way beds available?

Unfortunately we do not have roll-a-way beds available.  Please plan accordingly.

Will My Cell Phone Work At The Motel?

Cell phone service has greatly improved in the Bear Lake area in the past year, but it can still be somewhat sporadic in the mountains. Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-mobile all work well in the Garden City area.  Verizon boasts 4G LTE data service.  Sprint and AT&T offer 3G data service.  T-mobile has only 2G (EDGE) data.

Are There Any Grocery Stores In The Area?

There is not much selection for grocery stores in the area. So you may want to do any shopping prior to getting into the valley. The closest to the Motel is The Lakeview Market located at the KOA about one mile north on Bear Lake Blvd. It is not a very big grocery store but they do have most of the basics.

Can I Bring My Pet With Me?

Pets are permitted at a rate of $15.00 per day to a maximum of $50.00 per stay unless they pose a health or safety risk or are prohibited by law. Animals that pose a health or safety risk may not remain onsite, and include those that, in our managers’ discretion, are too numerous for any one room, cause damage to our property or that of other guests, are too disruptive, are not properly attended, or demonstrate undue aggression.  Animals that assist the disabled, known as “Service Animals,” are always welcome and at no charge. Like pets, however, any Service Animal that poses a health or safety risk may not remain onsite. All pets and Service Animals must be declared at check-in.

In consideration of all guests, pets must be attended to and under control at all times.  If your pet or Service Animal does not comply with any of the above guidelines, you may be asked to vacate the property with or without a refund.

Can I Smoke Inside The Room?

We have a strict no smoking policy in all of our rooms! Smoking is allowed outside 50 feet from all doors. Please, do not dispose of cigarette butts in the yard or surrounding areas. If discarded butts are found, additional cleaning fees will apply. (PLEASE DO NOT DISREGARD THIS POLICY AS IT WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE & ENTIRE LOSS OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT.) 

What Time Is Check-In and Check-Out?

CHECK-IN IS AT 3:00 PM: Every attempt is made to have your room prepared for check in at that time, but access to the property is given only after the room has been inspected and cleaned. Due to last minute bookings and the frequency in which our customers choose to extend their stay, we cannot commit to allowing an early check-in.

CHECK-OUT IS AT 11:00AM: It is our mission to provide the cleanest rooms possible so that our guests will come back to stay with us in the future! The 4 hour window between check out and check in allows just enough time for the room to be cleaned. The amount of an additional night stay will be charged for late checkouts. 

What If I Leave Something In The Room?

When you leave the room at 11:00 AM it is very likely that another party will be checking in at 3:00 PM. If you leave something in the room, please call the office immediately and we will try to locate it for you. If it is not found by our staff or the cleaning staff prior to the next guests arrival, it may not be there when they leave. We can not be responsible for your lost items. If an item is found, there is a minimum $25 charge for shipping and handling. Please make sure you get everything when you leave.

What Kind Of Amenities Are Available?

All rooms offer a TV and satellite.  Some rooms offer a kitchenette (stove, fridge, sink), but the kitchenettes are not stocked.  There is a commons area with a microwave. A grassy area for children to play on is available as well.  And of course there is always the lake! 

Highland Trail

A 55 mile long National Recreation trail is accessible from many points within the Bear Lake area including Bloomington Canyon, Paris Canyon, Emigration Canyon, and Logan Canyon. It is open to hiking, horseback riding, motorbikes or mountain bikes. Spectacular scenic views from the trail can be seen in Cache Valley as well as Bear Lake Valley.
